About the Role

We’re looking for a Manager - Business Development to lead, coach, and grow our fast-scaling Business Development Representative (BDR) team.
You'll be responsible for building a high-performing sales development engine across multiple markets, driving pipeline generation, and preparing our next generation of Account Executives and commercial leaders.
This is a role for a passionate, hands-on leader who thrives on developing people, shaping strategy, and scaling impact globally.
What You’ll Do
As Business Development Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our growth motion. Specifically, you will:
Build out, Lead and Inspire the BDR Team
Directly recruit, manage, coach, and motivate a team of high-potential BDRs, helping them develop their craft and accelerate their careers.
Foster a culture of excellence, resilience, and collaboration within the team.
Drive Pipeline Creation Across Markets
Own the team's pipeline targets across multiple geographies in Europe.
Optimize outreach strategies, playbooks, and messaging to unlock new opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
Coach Sales Skills and Strategic Thinking
Provide ongoing 1:1 coaching on discovery, objection handling, storytelling, and account strategy.
Regularly run training sessions and role-plays to sharpen skills and increase conversion rates.
Optimize Operations and Reporting
Use next generation AI tools to maintain visibility into team activity, pipeline health, and KPIs.
Analyze data to diagnose performance gaps and iterate on tactics in real-time.
Collaborate Closely Across Legora
Partner with marketing, product, and Account Executives to align on ideal customer profiles, messaging, and feedback loops.
Contribute to broader go-to-market strategy discussions and help shape our next phase of global expansion.
What You Bring
You’re a builder of people, a sharp commercial mind, and a hands-on leader who leads by example. We’re looking for:
5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
Proven track record of hiring, coaching, and scaling sales development or business development teams.
Strong operational rigor — you know how to manage pipelines, measure leading indicators, and optimize workflows.
Experience working across multiple markets, with an understanding of regional nuances in prospecting and outreach.
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills — you know how to both challenge and empower your team.
A passion for early-stage environments where speed, adaptability, and creativity are the norm.
Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch) are a major plus.
