This is an exciting opportunity to be the first, full sales cycle role we hire. This professional will be responsible for generating new pipeline, both from outbound prospecting for new customers and handling inbound demand. We already receive a lot of leads from customer referrals, a maturing demand gen function, and deep-rooted partnerships with major accelerators/incubators. They will also be responsible for driving deals to a close through a highly consultative approach. You will report directly to the Head of Sales. Our current ICP is early-stage founders of tech companies (pre-seed through Series A). We’ve done an exceptional job in this space with our own founder-led sales, want to complete our mastery of this niche via Sales, and then go to other industries outside tech for a massive TAM. Current, noteworthy sales metrics:

  • Average contract value - approximately $10,000
  • Average deal cycle - approximately 30 days

Beyond sales-related responsibilities, this professional will be able to have an immediate and long-term impact on building and growing Every’s sales function. They will collaborate closely with leadership, Marketing, and Strategy/Operations teams. Highest impact priorities:

  • Build an effective and scalable outbound motion (banking and payroll products)
  • Optimize seller’s experience working on deals and with internal teams (e.g. automation)
  • Create v2 of Sales onboarding based on experience with v1 (for future Sales hires)
