As an AI Engineer at Browserbase, you’ll be responsible for our open source AI-powered web browser SDK. You’ll ensure it is cost-effective, reliable, and that developers love to use it.

As an AI engineer at Browserbase, you will:

  • Establish and reinforce best practices around code review, configuration management, and application security.

  • Speak with customers regularly to hear their feedback and support them.

  • Be involved in roadmap prioritization and sequencing our deliverables.

  • Document everything as you go, and share knowledge with the team.

Being responsible for our AI-Powered Web Browser SDK means:

  • Develop and optimize an AI-powered SDK for automating web processes using LLMs.

  • Ensure the reliability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability of the SDK.

  • Design an intuitive and developer-friendly interface for seamless integration with existing workflows.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • To be based in San Francisco and able to work regularly from our Union Square office.

  • Practical experience building products powered by LLMs.

  • Understanding of LLMs and other types of models.

  • Enjoy reading the latest AI research papers

  • Interest in AI and developer tools.

You are a good fit for this role if you:

  • Bias towards action and having a process that embodies “show > tell.”

  • Have a high sense of agency and accountability and can prioritize your work without much outside input.

  • Excel in both written and verbal communication. You thoughtfully leverage different modes of communication that best fit what you’re trying to communicate.

  • Have direct experience building great products, and like to collaborate with others to implement your ideas.

  • Are able to immerse yourself in unfamiliar topics and understand complex technical concepts in order to make informed decisions.

  • Are a strong systems thinker and can understand how your decisions impact the customer experience all the way down the stack.
