Job Description
Work under the supervision of our hardware engineering team to assist the design, build, and test prototypes and systems for variety of different problem sets critical to company success.
Basic Qualifications
  • 18 years or older
  • Proof of US Citizenship ability
  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must not be otherwise employed for the duration of the internship
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience using CAD software for mechanical design (Solidworks, NX, Fusion 360, etc).
  • Proficiency and demonstrated use of engineering first principles with regards to mechanical design.
  • Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Rising seniors graduating either winter 2025 or spring 2026.
  • Prior internship and/or project experience in aerospace or related field.
  • Thermal, structural, and/or vibration analysis skills (Simcenter, FEMAP, Ansys, etc).
  • Programming experience (Matlab, Python, etc).
  • Experience integrating electromechanical components such as motors, controllers,
  • sensors etc.
  • Rapid prototyping skills including 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, hand/power tools.
  • Demonstrated capability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Passion for space exploration and resource acquisition.
  • Approaching 3rd year or higher in respective collegiate program upon completion of internship.
Location: Onsite in Seal Beach
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Duration: 10 weeks
ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S.,protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
